Before Judge Mary Chicchelly in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Roger Evans Walker, 26, rural Tama pled guilty to a pair of charges of driving while barred. He was assessed a $625 fine on each count and was handed a suspended two-year prison term on one of the charges. He was placed on unsupervised probation.

Walker was charged on March 11, 2013, at 305th Street and Meskwaki Road by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt. He was charged on Oct. 20, 2013, in the 1500 block of Meskwaki Road by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Jacob Molitor.

George Winston Musgrave, 26, Toledo pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, marijuana. He received a deferred judgment, was assessed a $315 civil penalty and was placed on self-supervised probation. He was directed to pay a $300 Department of Correctional Services supervisory enrollment fee.

Charges of failure to affix a drug tax stamp, keep or permit controlled substance in structure or vehicle and gathering for use of marijuana were dismissed. The original charges were filed on Jan. 4, 2013 in the 100 block of East High Street by Toledo Police Officer Joseph McMillen.
