Dear Chloe Hess,
After reading your letter to the editor in The Toledo Chronicle on November 13th, I felt I needed to respond. Seeing a need and doing something about it without pay or recognition is a sign of leadership. Bringing a concern to the attention of the public also shows me that you care about your community and are willing to step up to make it better. Good for you!
I hope your letter was read and discussed. Hopefully it will make people think twice before throwing their personal waste out the window. You will never know how many people you may have inspired to pick up litter or get involved in other ways. Your frustration was loud and clear, but please don't quit. You can't control other people's actions only your own.
Continue working and being a voice for the betterment of the Tama-Toledo Community. I am proud of you!
