A group of concerned citizens met with the Tama County Supervisors Tuesday morning to discuss the noise level of the new Oakridge Motocross Track between Garwin and Montour. After voicing some of their complaints, supervisors set up a time for further discussion on Monday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. in the Tama County Board of Supervisors Board Room in the Tama County Administration Building, 103 W. State, Toledo.

The track, located at 1324 280th St., was built this past summer and has not officially opened. A practice session which drew more than 500 riders was held the weekend of Oct. 12.

The Oakridge Facebook page reports the track is now closed for the season but "Working on some big events for the upcoming year."
