Tama County Supervisors Kendall Jordan, Larry Vest and Dan Anderson met Monday morning, Nov. 4, agreeing to change next week's meeting from Monday to Tuesday.
This was due to Monday falling on Nov.11, "Veteran's Day" and observed as a National Holiday. The meeting will be at the same time, 9:30 a.m.
Supervisors also set next Tuesday for the Canvass of the Nov. 5 city elections. This will be held at 10 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors room.
In matters before the supervisors:
a loan authorization was approved for the Veteran's Affairs Commission.
County Engineer Lyle Brehm, reported work on K Avenue just east of Toledo is nearing completion. Brehm said the road department continues to work on maintenance of roads and also prepare for winter weather and snow.
Claims approved for payment covering the past week totaled $169,953.
