Every month, two students from each grade are selected for their excellence in the three R's; respect, responsibility, and relationships.
For September, the students were Mitchelll Knock andKeenan Zach for sixth grade, Vanessa Valdovinos and Logan Witt for seventh grade, and Rosemary Acevedo and Gannon Ferneau for eighth grade.
Mitchell Knock, son of Pam Knock and Craig Knock, enjoys literacy. His favorite activity outside of school is hunting.

Keenan Zach, son of George and Heather Zach, likes math. At home, he enjoys watching movies. He hopes to one day to be a detective.
Vanessa Valdovinos, daughter of Maria and Daniel Mendoza, enjoys math and Spanish. Outside of school, she enjoys playing soccer and volleyball and watching TV.
Logan Witt, son of Danielle and Jerry Witt, enjoys STEP, the South Tama Enrichment Program. Outside of school, he enjoys drawing.
Rosemary Acevedo, daughter of Maria Llera, enjoys band and choir. Outside of school, she enjoys drawing and playing the piano.
Gannon Ferneau, son of Bradee and Travis Ferneau, enjoys algebra. Outside of school, he enjoys playing videogames.
