Tama County District Court

Before Judge Marsha A. Beckelman in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

James Lee Crow, 35, Keystone, pled guilty to 3rd offense drunken driving. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison with all but 90 days suspended. He may be allowed to serve time in the Linn County Jail if approved by the Tama County Sheriff. Crow was fined $3,125 and his driver's license was revoked for six years.

Crow was charged on Dec. 12, 2012, on the U.S. Highway 30 Expressway at H Avenue by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Lucas Dvorak.

Levi Andrew Palmer, 29, Traer, entered a written guilty plea to driving while barred as a habitual offender. He was sentenced to a suspended two-year prison term, fined $625 and placed on self-supervised probation.

He was charged on Oct. 24, 2012, in the 2700 block of 1450th Street at T.F. Clark Park by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Trevor Killian.

Dale Everett Bogue, 29, Tama, received a suspended 15-year prison sentence for failure to comply with sex offender registry requirements 2nd or subsequent offense as a habitual offender. A fine of $750 was also suspended and he was placed on probation for three years to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services. He had pled guilty earlier on Aug. 22.

Bogue was charged on May 2 for failure to report monthly in April to update and provide information for the sex offender registry as required of a Tier II sex offender. The charge was field by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Michael Wright.
