October 19, 2013
By Anne Michael , Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

Berleen Wobeter will show you how to put your old tee shirts to good use. You can actually make some classy jewelry and accessories. You can make hair ornaments, pins, necklaces and even tee shirt bags. Berleen has made, from a tee shirt, a very beautiful silver-gray rose pin that she wears on a black jacket. You will be amazed at what you can create with her as your guide. She asks that you bring sharp scissors and $2.00 for materials and a tee shirt or two that you wouldn't mind repurposing. If you have no tee shirt to use, Berleen will have some on hand. Come to the Tama Library at 6:30 pm on Monday, October 21 and create some interesting and attractive items. The tuition for this class is $14.00.

Steve Kenkel, in this session, will help guide you through such important topics as wills, paying for nursing home care, living trusts, and power of attorney. The information he will share is extremely valuable to seniors and their adult children. This class will meet on Monday, October 28, at the Toledo Library at 6:30 pm. Tuition for this class is $10.00.
