Set meeting for Poweshiek County Highway 63 improvements

AMES The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Thursday, Oct. 17, to discuss the proposed overlay of Portland cement concrete on U.S. 63 north of Montezuma north to just south of Interstate 80 in Poweshiek County.

All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at the Montezuma Memorial Hall, 205 E. Main St. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.

Traffic would be detoured during construction using Main Street, Iowa 85, Iowa 21, and Interstate 80. (For more information, see the website listed below.)
