Before Magistrate Richard Vander Mey:

Stephanie Lea Roeder, 26, Toledo, failed to appear for trial and was adjudged guilty of driving while license suspended, having no vehicle insurance and a headlamp violation. She was fined and assessed court costs totaling $920. The charges were filed by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

Joyce A. Phelps, 49, Cedar Rapids, failed to appear for trial and was adjudged guilty and assessed a fine and court costs totaling $175 on a charge of speeding between 11 mph and 15 over the limit. The Iowa state Patrol filed the charge.
