Robert "Bob" Hennesy, 85, of Woodbury, Minn., ied peacefully Sept. 6, 2013. Services ertr Monday, Sept. 16, , at House of Hope Presbyterian Church, St. Paul, Minn.
Bob was born in Toledo on Feb. 11, 1928. He was a 1946 graduate of Toledo High School. Bob served twice in the Army and received his Bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Iowa, where he met his loving wife of 58 years, Marjorie Campbell, who preceded him in death. They began to raise their family in Iowa, and moved to Minnesota in 1962, where Bob worked for 3M for 27 years.
He and his family were very involved in their church, House of Hope Presbyterian, especially the choir, and Bob and Marge volunteered regularly at the Dayton Avenue Presbyterian Church clothing center. Square dancing, digging into Marge's Scottish heritage and traveling occupied their early retirement years.

He is survived by his loving children and family members: Janet (George) Tapley, Fullerton, Calif.; Scott (Ja-Wen) Hennesy, Woodbury; Gordon (Harinder) Hennesy, Eugene, Ore.; four granddaughters; siblings Beverly Judge, Larry Hennesy, Carolee Doyle, Judy Cooper and Craig Hennesy; and many nieces & nephews.
Services will take place at 1:00 pm Monday, September 16, at House of Hope Presbyterian Church, 797 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, MN. Memorial checks made out to "House of Hope" (with a note at the bottom "Hennesy") will be designated for the Dayton Ave. Joint Projects (clothing center and school supplies).
Willwerscheid Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.
