Ralph F. Haines

Ralph F. Haines, 75, of Toledo, passed away, Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center. A family led Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the family home, 2047 310th St, Toledo.

Ralph was born on July 19, 1938, in Iowa City, Ithe son of Ralph Floyd and Dorothy (Lemke) Haines.

Ralph served his country in the U.S. Navy.

On Oct. 24, 1981, he was united in marriage to Nancy Hooper at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Ralph was employed at Fisher Controls for 31 years, retiring in 1995. He greatly enjoyed gardening and fruit trees. He had many collections and liked listening to country music. Ralph deeply loved his children and grandchildren and was very devoted to his wife, Nancy.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Roger and Roy Haines; and two sisters, Peggy and Linda Haines.

Survivors include his wife Nancy of Toledo; his children, Gina (John) Stocker of Prior Lake, MN, Tonya McGuire of Des Moines, Ketrina (Jeff) Robinson of State Center, and Shannon (Troy Beckman) Haines of Toledo; his grandchildren, Randon, Cody, Hayley, Brydon, Kassy, Tayler, Riley, Madisen, and Drayton.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
