Magical Metal Art - A new craft

Get your creative juices running! You can attend this craft class and make designs in 3d. You can experiment with paints, finishes, embellishments, and textures. When you finish, you will have a piece of art that is unique, your own creation, and you will take it home to place in your house or garden.

This class meets at the Shoestring Garden on Highway 30 next to the Super 8 Motel. You find yourself surrounded with ideas! Bring $15 payable to the instructor at the time of the class which will cover all materials. Tuition for the class is $14.

This class is held on Sunday, Sept. 15, beginning at 4 p.m. Your instructor is Sandy McAntire, a craft guru. She will make sure you have a decorative piece of magical metal when you finish as well as making sure you have a lot of fun as you create it.

Lean how to play bridge

The most fascinating card game you can play is bridge. It offers intriguing types of strategies and many ways to get to a winning game. Every time you play, you will learn more.

Fortunately, in the Tama and Toledo area, there are many bridge groups with players who are happy to help you along your way as you learn the game. You will find bridge fascinating and you will meet new people.

Come to the Tama Library on Monday and Tuesday, Sept.16 and

17 at 6:30 p.m. Those who join the bridge class will receive surprise rewards, but you must be present to win! Bridge is addictive, and it will keep your mind sharp! Learn something new and broaden your experiences.
