David Craig of Waterloo has published his second book.
In July his new book, Deceived: The Visible Church and the Homosexual Agenda, was released. This is the second book in his Books from a Pastor's Heart series.
Deceived takes a careful look at multiple reasons that proponents of the homosexual agenda use to argue for inclusion as members of and ministers in the Christian community.
Craig then gives a complete background of the biblical issues involved for each item and a thorough discussion of the biblical position on each issue.
Deceived stresses that the Church is not just any social organization. The Church, as established by Jesus Christ, is a spiritual organism whose life system is based on the integrity of God's Word. The issue of behavior in the church is not a matter of public opinion, political agendas or personal desires. The ordinances that govern the church are the inerrant truths that are found in the Scriptures. Without the acceptance of these inerrant truths there is no real church. God has said what He meant and that is the sole basis for the doctrines that govern the polity and behaviors of His Church.
David used to write a weekly column for The Chronicle "The Bible Speaks".
Now he writes an online daily devotional, "Abundant Grace", which can be accessed through his webpage www.davidccraig.net.
David's first book, The Gospel According to Molly: From Devil Dog to Sidewalk Saint, was originally released in Kindle format last spring but was published in July in paperback and is also available at Wiley's and at the author's webpage.
