A boil order issued on Wednesday evening remained in effect for Toledo water at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, July18. The water main break at the corner of Broadway and High downtown was reported repaired about 6 a.m. Thursday after crews worked all night. The level of the Toledo water tower was reported at four feet down from 24 fee the night before. Water tests will determine when the boil order can be lifted.
Toledo city workers dig into East High Street to locate a valve to reduce flow of water through a main at about 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17. Water pressure in the leaking line had to be reduced to allow it to be fixed according to Mark Dvorak, of the water department.
