Gladyce B. Strellner, 91, of Amana and formerly of Tama died Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Colonial Manor in Amana from complications of age. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Keystone Cemetery by Hospice Chaplain Mary Beth Siemann. Visitation will be 1 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine.
Gladyce was born Aug. 21, 1921 at rural Tama, the daughter of Sam and Dena (Olson) Chantland. She attended country shcool at rural Tama.
She was married to Jack Strellner on July 14, 1946, at State Center. She was a housewife and farmer.

She was a member of Oakridge homemakers, Farm Bureau Women and the Eagles Auxilary.
Survivors include sons, Verlyn (Bev) of Illinois, and Stephen (LuAnn) of New Jersey; daughters, Bonnie (Bonis) Byrd of California and Mary (Richard) Vomacka of Middle Amana; three siblings, Gilbert, Arnold, and Frances; also by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992 and her parents.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
