A pair of inmates are escorted from the Tama County Jail as a precaution as Toledo firefighters head in to check a fire alarm sounding about 8:30 a.m. on Friday, June 28. Other inmates were taken to the outside exercise area. Firefighters were leaving the scene once when the alarm again sounded. A heat detection camera was deployed, but no source for the alarm could be found according to Fire Chief Joe Boll.
