Needed Again ?

June 5, 2013
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

Tama Mayor Dan Zimmerman (back, left), Toledo firefighter Dirk Henle and Iowa Juvenile Home students were among those pitching in to fill sandbags Thursday morning, May 30, at the Iowa Department of Transportation Maintenance Garage in Tama. The sandbags were bound for the U.S. 30 Expressway at the Iowa River west of Toledo and north of Montour. Water had subsided on Sunday relieving efforts there and allowing U.S. Highway 63 to reopen south of Tama.

Rains were back again on Tuesday and continued with a heavy thunderstorm early Wednesday morning.
