May 9

1:10 p.m.- Ashley Marie Thompson, 25, rural Tama, arrested in the 100 block of East Quail Road on charges of 2nd degree burglary and violation of a no contact / protective order by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Placed on pre-trial release on May 10 at noon.

4:30 p.m.- Betty Jean Buffalo, 72, rural Tama, arrested at the Tama County Sheriff's Office in Toledo on a warrant for failure to appear by the Sheriff's Office.

5:55 p.m.- Jose Eduardo Gutierrez-Aguilera, 20, Marshalltown, arrested at the U.S. 30 and 63 junction in Toledo on a charge of driving while barred by the Tama County Sheriff's Office. Released at 7:35 p.m. after posting cash bond.

7:19 p.m.- Merlin Forrest Choneska Jr., 38, rural Tama, arrested in the 1300 block of Meskwaki Road on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

7:41 p.m.- Daniel Craig Bartling, 38, Tama, arrested in the 400 block of State Street on charges of 2nd degree harassment and simple assault and on two warrants by Tama Police.

May 10

1:02 p.m.- Allen Michael Verbeek, 36, Montour, arrested in the 200 block of West High Street on charges of 1st degree harassment and stalking- 1st offense by Toledo Police. Released on May 13 at 11:32 a.m. after posting bond with the Clerk of the District Court.

3:50 p.m.- Asia Renae Roberts, 18, Toledo, arrested at the Tama County Sheriff's Office in Toledo on a charge of violation of terms of pre-trial release by the Sheriff's Office. Released on May 11 at 12:40 a.m. on surety bond.

Juvenile arrested by the Tama County Sheriff's Office. No other information was provided in the Press Arrest Log.

May 11

2:20 a.m.- Robert Michael Chamberlin, 36, Tama, arrested in the 200 block of State Street on a charge of assault without intent by Tama Police. Released at 10:53 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.
