Everybody seems ready for spring and the great annual kick-off is next week when the 34th annual Lincoln Highway Bridge Festival in downtown Tama sets the stage.
There's a full line-up of entertainment on Friday night and Saturday and the Tama Firefighters Association will host Merriam'sMidway Shows for the 60th straight year.
Bands, a street dance, lots of activities for kids including water fights and the Sand Hill Nickel Scramble, the 5K Run-Walk, Bean Bag Tourney at the Eagle's Club and more are on tap.
Of course, the big LHBF Festival Parade is set for Saturday morning.
