Ronald Le Roy "Cracky" Rutledge, 69, of Tama, passed away on his 69th birthday, Monday, May 6, 2013, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 9, at 2:30 p.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 1:30 - 2:30 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home.
Ronald was born on May 6, 1944, in Tama, Iowa, the son of Theodore Green and Esther Fay (LaGrange) Rutledge.
He worked many odd jobs over the years for local companies. Ronald was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Dorothy Mann; and one brother, Ted Rutledge.
Survivors include a daughter, Missy; two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; three brothers, Frank (Betty) Thorp of Evansdale, Homer (Barbara) Rutledge of Thorndale, TX, and Carl Rutledge of Toledo; one sister, Florence Kroeger of Toledo; one sister-in-law, Eleanor Rutledge of Marshalltown; several nieces and nephews; his longtime companion, Delores Troxell of Tama; and his dog, Susie.
A memorial fund has been established.
