South Tama's National Honor Society hosted a very successful blood drive with the America Red Cross! They were able to collect 68 units of blood!
As a result of the combined blood drives hosted by STC Student Council members in December 2012, and the STC National Honor Society blood drive they will have earned $1,000 in scholarship monies from the American Red Cross, Young Minds Change Lives program. STC will be able to award five $200 scholarships to senior members belonging to either NHS or Student Council.
Without the help from community members, STC students, and staff - they would not have accomplished this goal and sincerely appreciate all the help from public participation at both drives.
