Twins Admit Assaulting Each Other

Before Judge Paul D. Miller in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Twin 18-year-old brothers at Lincoln, Iowa, entered guilty pleas to disorderly conduct reduced from original charges of serious domestic abuse assault.

Each was fined $65 and assessed court costs.

Clay Lewis Clubine and Cory David Clubine, allegedly engaged in a fight between themselves resulting in injury to both on Jan. 22. The fight occurred at 111 North St. in Lincoln. The charges were filed by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt.

Also before Judge Miller:

Gregory Lyle Keahna Sr., 62, rural Tama pled guilty to serious assault causing bodily injury. He received a two-year suspended prison term was fined $315 and placed on unsupervised probation for two years.

Keahna was charged with assaulting a victim by slamming her to the floor causing a cut above the eye and facial injuries and striking her with intent to inflict serious injury on Feb. 3. the charge was filed by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Joel Hols.
