Rural development roundtable in Toledo on May 9

Local residents, business owners and community leaders will have the opportunity to share their thoughts about opportunities and challenges in rural Iowa when Bill Menner, USDA Rural Development State Director in Iowa, visits Toledo on Thursday, May 9.

A rural-issues roundtable discussion will take place starting at 9 a.m. in the Reinig-Toledo Civic Center, 1007 Prospect Drive, The meeting is open to the public.

USDA Rural Development's funding continues to have a dramatic impact on rural communities across Iowa. Since 2009, USDA Rural Development has invested more than $2.5 billion on essential public facilities, small and emerging businesses, water and sewer systems, and housing opportunities for Iowa families.
