Tama County District Court

Before Judge Mitchell E. Turner in Tama County District Court action in Toledo:

Kori Anne Evans, 31, Reinbeck, was sentenced to five years in prison with all but 45 days suspended for 3rd offense drunken driving. She pled guilty on Jan. 18. Evans may serve jail time in a residential OWI program located in the 1st Judicial District. She was also fined $3,125, placed on supervised probation to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services for three years and her driver's license was revoked for six years.

Evans was charged on Aug. 6, 2012, at 1485 Highway T55 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Chad Hansen.

Scott Allen Harms, 48, Reinbeck, was sentenced to 48 hours in jail and fined $1,250 for 1st offense drunken driving. He may complete the OWI weekend program at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo in lieu of serving jail time.

Harms pled guilty on Feb. 7.

Harms was charged on Oct. 5, 2012, on N Avenue near 220th Street by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Wes Sebetka.
