It's time for nominations for the Tama Citizen of the Year honor.
Each year since 1982 the Tama Firefighters Association has chosen a nominee to honor a person who has contributed to the city through volunteer efforts.
The deadline for nominations is May 3 at 5 p.m.
The 2013 Citizen of the Year will be recognized during the Lincoln Highway Bridge Festival set for Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18.
