Iowa Cable Network expansion continues in Toledo

March 8, 2013
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

Expansion of ICN continues - A contract crew for Centurion Associates, Urbandale, was working to install fiber optic cable to Tama County offices on Saturday, Feb. 23, before snow hit the area. It will connect to the Iowa Communications Network, a state-wide service which provides internet, voice, data and video services to government offices and schools. Tama County Auditor Laura Kopsa said the hook-up is being provided at no direct cost to Tama County. Underground and aerial cable is also being installed from the ICN hub at South Tama High School to the Deer Creek Medical Center according to Tim Downs, STC director of Building Maintenance, Grounds and Transportation.
