Teresa Vodochodsky received a Priority Mail letter at work on Feb. 5 containing a check made out to her for $1,950. 27 from SIPCO?Publications Inc. A check of the company found it to be a fraud.
Residents should be on guard and always check with their financial institution or police before attempting to cash a check from an unknown source.
