A construction crew from Midwest Builders, Waverly, continued the roof improvement work at the Toledo Police Department last week. The city council authorized the $52,510 project to stem on-going problems with leaks. Toledo Police relocated their headquarters to the former State Bank of Toledo West Bank in November, 2004. The building downtown on West High Street was purchased on contract for $150,000 to replace the police station which had been housed in a former Highway 63 service station. Chronicle/John Speer
