On the third Thursday of every month, three book clubs meet in Tama County at the local libraries. In Clutier, contact library director Patti Kupka. In Chelsea, contact Dianna Dunning and in Tama contact Anne Michael or Sally Willett if you have any questions.
Better yet, just show up on the third Thursday at 7 p.m. and meet the members. These clubs are very flexible in that if you don't care for a book or don't have time to read that month, you are free to attend or not attend. The meetings are informal and fun.
Iowa winters can be enjoyable particularly if you get out and have some fun at Iowa Valley classes.
