Teen charged in series of Toledo tire slashings

Toledo Police have charged a 19-year-old resident with 2nd degree criminal mischief as the result of widespread tire slashing incidents which occurred on Dec. 2.

Skylier Ross Makes Room For Them is accused of using a pocket knife to slash 24 vehicle tires in early morning incidents on that date.

The tires were slashed in a city parking lot in the 100 block of South Church, in the 100 block of South Broadway and in the 100 block of Business Highway 30.

Total damage was set by police at $2,412.

Makes Room For Them was released after posting $2,500 surety bond.

The charge was filed by Toledo Police Officer Andrea Young.
