Hello friends, family and neighbors,
Saturday, January 19th is National Day of Service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's life & legacy. A time folks go out into their community to serve & assist others. It can be in a care center, kids day care, school, shut-in's, Senior Center, any place that could use a helping hand.
You are welcome to join our Day of Service Event on the 19th at the Tama County Humane Society, 1406 E. 5th St., Tama. at 11:00 am.
We will be socializing with our furry friends as well as taking them for a walk. Some may need a brushing or a bath!
OR you can donate supplies: rawhide treats for the dogs, treats for the cats, canned cat food & dry food for the dogs.
OR laundry soap and cleaning supplies: Windex, bleach, sanitizers, and soap, paper towels, toilet paper and rubber gloves.
Or office supplies: computer paper, ink, pens, paper clips, & envelopes.
Or donate money to be used for the upkeep /maintenance of running the shelter.
If you are unable to make that date or time, but want to be a part of this event, contact me.
Join us at the shelter at 11 a.m. and bring a donation.
Around 12:15 we will meet at the King Tower, in the backroom, for lunch to share our stories, visit and enjoy our neighbors, family & friends. There are some surprises & prizes so JOIN us everyone, kids too, all are Welcome.
