If you really aren't into Sunday football, Iowa Valley has some interesting classes for you. Sandra McAntire, owner of the new Shoestring Jungle, will teach offerings that will give you new skills and be a lot of fun.
On Sunday, Feb. 3, she will hold "Metal Magic." You will create a piece of art for your home or garden by selecting a design, flat or dimensional. You will experiment with paint techniques, finishes, embellishments and textures.
When you are done, your piece of metal art will reflect your flair.
Bring $12 to cover the cost of materials payable to Sandra at the time of the class. Class will start at 4 p.m.
You will meet at the new Shoestring Jungle, 132 East High St. in Toledo.
Please register by Feb. 1. The tuition for the class is $18.
On Sunday, Feb. l7, you can spend the afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. learning to Be-A-Barista. You will be learning how to operate an espresso machine with all the ingredients with steamed milk and all sorts of sweet syrup concoctions. If you are a coffee enthusiast, this is the class for you.
Also, keep in mind that decaf is available. When you finish your two hours, you will be a Barista! Bring $12 payable to Sandra at the time of the class to cover the cost of ingredients.
