County Engineer Lyle Brehm presented the policy on plowing snow to the supervisors. Brehm says the trucks with a blade will go out at 5:00 a.m. on hard surfaced roads, and the maintainers will go out at 6:00 a.m. on the rock roads. Brehm says he does not like for the equipment to be out in the dark.
Brehm also stated the last snow storm came on a Wednesday night and blizzard conditions contiuned through Thursday, making it Friday before the county equipment could get out to plow. Holidays did not help.
