Joshua David Todd, 25, Toledo, pled guilty to 2nd offense possession of marijuana and two counts of child endangerment. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days already served on the possession charge and to suspended two-year prison terms and $625 fines for child endangerment. Todd was placed on probation for one year to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services.
Charges of maintaining a drug house, possession of drug paraphernalia, 1st offense possession of marijuana and two counts of neglect of a dependent person were dropped as part of a plea agreement.
Todd was charged after a search warrant was executed at his residence on Dec 2 by Toledo Police Officer Daniel Quigley.
Rick William Schlitter, 56, Vinton pled guilty to 2nd offense drunken driving and 1st degree harassment. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with all but seven days suspended and fined $1,875 for drunken driving. For harassment, he was sentenced to a concurrent 180 jail term with all but seven days suspended and a $625 fine was also suspended.
Schlitter was charged on Sept. 14 at Iowa Highways 21 and 8 at Dysart on the drunken driving charge. He was cited on July 7 for harassment for which court records state he had previously been convicted three or more times previously on harassment charges. The charges were both filed by Dysart Police Officer Blake L. Waldrop.
Tyler James Stevenson, 22, Toledo, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, marijuana. He received a deferred sentence, was placed on probation to the 6th Judicial Department of Correctional Services for two years and assessed a $315 civil penalty.
Stevenson was charged on July 15 by Toledo Police Officer Daniel Quigley.
Fernando Galves-Cardenas, 37, Toledo, pled guilty to assault causing bodily injury. He was fined $315.
He was charged on Aug. 3 for striking the victim causing pain and bleeding from the mouth. The charge was filed by Toledo Police officer Joe McMillen.
