Construction of a new building to house county road maintenance equipment at Garwin is nearing completion of the exterior County Engineer Lyle Brehm reported to the Tama County Board of Supervisors on Monday.
The building replaces one which was destroyed in the derecho windstorm which swept acrosss the county in July, 2010. It is 100 ft. x 60 ft. in size.
Brehm said the building cost itself is about $150,000 with interior work to be added.

Claims approved on Monday, Nov. 26, totaled $522,754.
