The South Tama County Activity Booster Club has successfully completed the first stage of their membership drive. Thirty-eight local businesses and nearly 230 fans pledged their support through the club's membership. Over $15,000 was raised during the fall membership drive.
The South Tama County Activity Booster Club exists in order to support the students in the South Tama County School District in fine arts, academic, and athletic activities.
Leif and Amanda Morris of Chelsea won free admission to ten South Tama County School Activities by joining the club by September 15th.
The following businesses reached Platinum Status by donating $500: The State Bank of Toledo, Tama News-Herald and Toledo Chronicle, Lincoln Savings Bank, Chris Hoskey Trucking, USS Polaris and Upah Tax Services, State Farm Insurance, The Butter Cow, Independent Insurance Services, Dr. Jerry Wille, Farm Bureau Financial Services, and Pinnacle Bank.

The South Tama County Activity Booster Club meets on the First Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Tama-Toledo Country Club. All members are encouraged to attend.
