Help Tama Library's recycling effort

November 21, 2012
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

The Tama Library is teaming up with Funding Factory to earn money by recycling. Want to help?

Drop empty ink jet cartridges, Laser-toner cartridges, old cell phones and small electronics such as cameras and Mp3 players in our collection box located in the library. Or after library hours you can deposit donated items in the library's book drop box. Please put all ink cartridges in Ziploc type baggies.

The Tama Library is looking for volunteer "Dust Angels". A dust angel is an individual who volunteers time to dust shelves, books, etc. Dusting is a very time consuming job, therefore it is usually on the bottom of the to-do list. Interested in becoming a Dust Angel? Stop by the library and sign up.

Students Early out Wednesday would be a terrific day to volunteer as a Dust Angel. Earn a treat after just 1 hour of work, and after 10 hours you will receive a new prize book or 2 used books from the book sale room, your choice. Dust Angels should volunteer for at least 15 minutes each time they come, but a 1 hour per visit is preferred.
