Utility permits were approved for Central Iowa Water Association for two water main crossings along D Avenue in Indian Village Township; Poweshiek Water Association for a waterline in Highland Township, Sections 8 and 9; Alliant Energy for a new pole in Grant Township, Section 33; and Windstream Communications, Inc. to bury a copper cable on 340th Street and H Avenue in Tama Township.
A resolution was passed for establishing a speed limit on Highway E49. This is in accord to Iowa Code Sections 321.255 and 321.285 which is to determine the speed limit os any
set a public hearing for a possible urban renewal area, for Monday, Dec. 17 at 10 at the Board of Supervisors meeting room.
