American Cancer Society staff member Heidi Hora of the American Cancer Society's Cedar Rapids office was recently recognized for her outstanding efforts in the fight against cancer at the American Cancer Society's Midwest Division CEO Club ceremony in Minneapolis, MN.
The CEO Club is the premier recognition event for field-based staff. Of the 39 people recognized, 21 members came from the Community Relations staff in Iowa.
To be eligible for the 2012 CEO Club, Community Relations staff we required to achieve 100 percent of portfolio goal.

Hora worked with Tama, Linn and Benton counties in 2012 and helped raise $397,713 which was more than $76,000 raised in 2011.
Hora achieved 120% of her annual goal.
"We have a tremendous team in Cedar Rapids," said Heather Englin, American Cancer Society Community Relations Director in Iowa. "They are determined, energetic, and organized. They truly want to make a difference for those facing cancer."
