Big going-out-of-business sale in progress at TJ’s Treasures

November 2, 2012
By John Speer - Editor , Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

Tammi Jo Tomlinson-Mull and Mike McComber came back to their hometown of Tama and went into retail business. After more than two years and the addition of Olivia, a new family member 3 1/2 months ago, they've decided to call it quits in their store.

Their decision is your gain, particularly heading into the Christmas gift-giving season.

TJ's Treasures, on the corner of 5th and State (U.S. Highway 63) on the north side of the downtown business district is selling out.

Merchandise is discounted to 25 percent off their already reasonable prices as the going out of business sale has gotten underway.

The 2,000 sq. ft. store has a great stock of new gifts, collectibles and antiques, craft items and more.

There's jewelry, home decorative pieces and some one-of-a-kind finds.

Looking for holiday gifts, a collectible or a "treasure" you'll have fun exploring their inventory.

From an assortment of everything "Elvis" to Coca-Cola or an antique picture frame to baby and shower gifts and goods for Hawkeye and Cyclone fans, there is something for everyone.

Tammi Jo urges you to shop "locally" for holiday presents and stocking stuffers.

The sale continues until the inventory is gone or the business and property is sold.

The hours are Tuesday-Friday noon- 4 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.
