November 1, 2012
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

Joshua Robert Smith, 22, Marshalltown, faces a charge of eluding or attempting to elude law enforcement after being stopped at 1:02 a.m. at 17th and McClellan in Tama by Toledo Police.

Smith was also charged by Toledo Police Officer Brian Randall with reckless driving, no driver's license and interference with official acts. The interference charge was the result of Smith allegedly attempting to run from the officer following the stop.

He was being held on Monday morning on the traffic charges on a $5,000 cash only bond and also on a $10,000 cash only bond on a Tama County warrant for violation of terms of pre-trial release.
