Maria Soccoro Perez, 49, rural Tama, pled guilty to selling or dispensing alcohol after hours in Tama County Magistrate Court. She was fined and assessed court costs totaling $325 by Magistrate Richard Vander Mey.
Perez was originally charged on June 24 at 2:11 a.m. for selling or dispensing alcohol or beer on premises covered by a license or permit by Tama Police Officer Jason Bina.
The violation allegedly occurred at Las Dos Fuentes, 131 West 3rd St.

Tama officials said the case will be forwarded to the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division for further review.
Sale of beer and liquor by licensees is prohibited in Iowa between the hours of 2 a.m. - 6 a.m. Monday-Saturday and 8.m.-2.a.m on Sunday.
