Terrell Grant and Corey Dye once again connected on a touchdown pass to give Meskwaki its second-straight week on Oct. 6.

Grant threw the game-winning touchdown pass to Dye the previous week to give the Warriors their first win of the season. It was dj vu for the Warriors against Moravia, when Grant threw a 10-yard pass to Dye for the game-winning score. The Warriors won the game 36-34, for their second-straight, two-point victory.

Moravia took a 34-30 lead during the middle of the third quarter on a four-yard touchdown run. Neither team was able to score for more than a quarter. With the game on the line, Grant found Dye on a 10-yard touchdown pass with 0:15 remaining in the contest.

Meskwaki started the game with a 75-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. The Warriors converted the two-point conversion, taking an 8-0 lead. Moravia answered back with a pair of touchdowns. Moravia scored on 50- and 7-yard runs to take a 12-8 lead.

Demarce Keahna gave Meskwaki a 16-12 lead when he scored on a 24-yard run near the end of the first quarter. The two teams proceeded to exchange a pair of touchdowns apiece. Grant broke loose on a 46-yard run, before scoring again on a six-yard run in the second half.

Grant led the Warriors with 121 rushing yards on 21 carries against Moravia. He scored a pair of touchdowns on the ground, too. Keahna carried the ball nine times for 54 yards. Kade Brown and Royce Timberwolf also added 17 and 14 yards, respectively.

The Warriors' Grant also completed 6-of-16 passes for 45 yards and one touchdown. Timberwolf led the Warriors with two catches for 26 yards. Dye had 19 yards receiving in the game.

Defensively, Darrion Murray led Meskwaki with 19 tackles in the contest. Grant, Dye and Timberwolf also had double-digit totals in tackles. Keahna, Mythias Keahna and Allis Tahahwah each added significant tackles for Meskwaki.

Meskwaki played Tri-County (Thornburg) on Friday. The results weren't available at press time.
