Ronald D. Hrabak
On October 14, 1969, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Misel. The couple made their home in Chelsea, where Ron owned/operated Hrabak Lumber for many years. They were blessed with two children.
Ron enjoyed the simple things in life. He looked forward to his weekly golf outing with his close friend Jim, he loved to read, listening to his radio (which he carried with him everywhere), and proudly worked to his last day with his son at the lumberyard in Toledo. Ron loved his family and especially adored his grandchildren, talking hours with his grandson about sports. With his woodworking he made clocks into castles for his granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn, one daughter Kira (Tim) Doyle, one son, Kyle (Nichole) Hrabak, and three grandchildren, Brandon and Mahala Doyle, and Taylor Hrabak, all of Chelsea, Iowa, and brother, Richard (Barb) Hrabak, and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents.
