Investigation into damage of as many as 15 headstones in the Dysart Cemetery is underway.
Family members are offering a reward for information which leads to an arrest in the case according to the Tama County Sheriff's Office.
The markers were reported tipped over. The Sheriff's Office said the stones were apparently vandalized in late August and early September but the damage was not reported to authorities until Sept. 15 when more damage occurred.
The Dysart Police?Department is in charge of theinvestigation.
No solid leads or suspects have been developed yet according to the Sheriff's Office. A monetary estimate of the damage is still awaited.
