James Anthony Tamayo, 25, of Tama died Thursday, September 20, 2012 in Cedar Rapids. Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, September 24 at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. He will be cremated following the service.
He is survived by his mother, Caroline (Russ) Jacobi of Belle Plaine; sons, Jameson Tamayo of Tama and Jordan Tamayo of Cedar Rapids; his girlfriend, Shayla Youker of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Joshua Hendrix of Center Point and John Tamayo of Cedar Rapids; sister, Amanda Tamayo of Tama; grandmother, Jean VoPalka of Belle Plaine; grandfather, Wayne Kirchoff of Cedar Rapids; also by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
