Before Judge Mitchell E. Turner:

Brian Nathaniel Ames, 37, Potosi, Wisc., was sentenced to 24 days in jail and fined $1,875 on a charge of 2nd offense drunken driving. He was also directed to complete drinking driver's school.

Ames entered a written guilty plea.

Kylan Isaac Roberts, 22, rural Tama, entered a written guilty plea to providing alcohol to a minor. He was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $315.

Roberts was charged on Feb. 11 with supplying alcohol to a 15-year-old male in the 1400 block of U.S. Highway 30. Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt filed the charge.
