Before Judge Robert E. Sosalla in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Joshua B. Arcelo, 30, Marshalltown received a suspended five-year prison term and was placed on probation for three years to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services. A $750 fine was also suspended.

Arcelo pled guilty on June 18 to manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

He was charged on Oct. 18, 2011, in a hotel room at the Meskwaki Bingo Casino by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Michael Burke.

Brandon James Pippert, 19, Gladbrook, pled guilty to 1st offense drunken driving. He was fined $1,250 of which a total of $625 can be waived by the court if proof of installation of an ignition interlock device is provided. Completion of an OWI weekend program within 120 days may be done in lieu of serving a two-day jail sentence.

Pippert was charged on June 24 at 6th and Grace streets in Gladbrook by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Lucas Dvorak.

Jason Randall Himschoot, 30, Traer, pled guilty to trespassing- simple misdemeanor and 5th degree criminal mischief. He received concurrent 30-day jail sentences with credit for 28 days already served.

Himschoot was originally charged on March 23 with 3rd degree burglary for breaking into an occupied structure in the 600 block of North Street in Traer by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Lucas Dvorak.
