The Louise and Lucile Hink Tama Public Library has received a grant for $498.70 towards the purchase of four new computer desks.

The grant is from the Tama County Community Foundation and was awarded in July. The desks have been purchased, assembled and put in place in the library. Prior to the purchase of the desks, computers were sitting on tables which were at an uncomfortable height for use.

The Tama County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, is a permanent public charity built by donations from individuals, families, organizations and businesses. Their administrative office is in Waterloo.
