A reported rape case is being investigated by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police, Mike Marquess, lead prosecutor for the Sac and Fox Tribe confirmed on Monday.
He said normal investigative procedures were under way.
A Toledo ambulance was summoned by officers for a victim at about 3 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, on the Meskwaki Settlement.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment and examination Marquess said.
